V8 SuperTourers are pleased to confirm The SOUND FM as the new series radio partner for 2014.

The deal, which installs The Sound as a major series sponsor, includes naming rights to round two of this year’s championship – The SOUND 250 taking place at Manfeild next weekend.

V8 SuperTourers Sales & Marketing Manager Mike Marsden says The Sound’s considerable audience share and listener demographic fits perfectly with V8 SuperTourer’s target market so it is a sensible move.

“Our goal is to reach as many motorsport fans, dads and families as possible going forward,” says Marsden. “We are focussed on building a new generation of motorsport fans so targeting this audience, particularly dad’s and families, will play a big part in this. Mediaworks was a great partner for us in 2013 and we look forward to continuing that association in 2014.”

The Sound is one of five stations that will provide advertising support to the series in 2014.
